The Flag

I would never dream of burning the flag of any nation.
To burn the flag of any land would be an act of desecration.
I know that my society is not perfect;
We do have our problems here.
And yet, this land is my country;
This land is my home.
I do not burn your flag;
Please, do not burn mine.
